The first wedding of 2018 was took place on a cold, but bright January afternoon at the Belmont Hotel, Banbridge. Eliza and Richard had traveled from England to get married close to Eliza's family home town of Lurgan. We'd exchanged a few emails and telephone calls and met up at the venue a few days before the big day. I knew this was going to be a special day for everyone and it was a pleasure to share in the enjoyment.
Eliza and Richard met when Eliza had her car serviced at Richard's MOT garage in Suffolk and agreed to go out for a few drinks. Eliza says its the 'Best thing I ever did!' Richard then proposed on Eliza's birthday with an Engagement Ring as a special birthday gift.
The newly refurbished Belmont Hotel was chosen as the perfect location for its convenience, friendly staff and recommendations from family members.
Ivory and Ice Blue was the theme and Eliza's found her perfect Pronovias fishtail dress from House of Snow, Bury. This was matched with a veil containing the most amazing laze embroidery. All the dresses and the Ice blue suits were flown over from England. The hotel was decorated with Ivory roses and personalised candles, and ice blue up-lighting to match the theme.
"Try not to stress as everything falls into place. It was even more stressful trying to organise a wedding in Ireland when you live in England. Highly recommend Eamonn he was brilliant all day really worked with all my family and friends and what can I say the evidence is in the photos. Amazing!!" Eliza
Eliza and Richard's favorite part of the day was just after the ceremony when they were no longer nervous and enjoyed spending time and having fun with their family and friends.
